The juxtaposition of warm and cool colors, coupled with the use of light against dark values, gives Darlene's paintings a dynamic punch. Since 1992, Darlene has turned all of her artistic ability towards watercolor painting. Her skill in using both a refreshing view of the subject matter, and bold use of paint has won her numerous awards. Darlene received her degree from the Antelope Valley College, which is located in the Mojave Desert of California. The Turnbow's reside on 26 acres in the quaint little town of Santa Margarita, located along the scenic central coast of California.
